About us

We fell in love with the Landseer breed many years ago, not only because of its impressive appearance, but also because of its wonderful nature, they are true heart dogs. I will never forget my first meeting with an amazing Landseer boy... my heart completely stopped and I stopped breathing...

But life had other plans for us and diverted us to the path of "animal rescuers". It was a beautiful and thorny journey and it taught us a lot. Many abandoned and sometimes abused animals have passed through our lives, and not just dogs, but also cats, horses, cattle, goats, rabbits, eight-year-olds, etc. We managed to find wonderful new homes for some of them in cooperation with other associations, and some have already stayed with us forever.

And the years flew by and we stopped one day and said to ourselves: "And when are we actually going to get our dream Landseer?" The years are increasing and when we are retired, we probably won't be able to handle such a big dog!“

So we went right into it.
After careful research and finding out between kennels, we stopped at Kennel Bílský lev, which just had puppies. And there I caught the eye of a wonderful Landseeer boy Demonek ... my soul began to tremble, my heart began to beat rapidly and I knew that it was HIM.
HE, MINE, the one with whom we belong 😊.

I didn't have an easy time here either, because there was another person interested in him, so I didn't know for a while whether it would work out or not. However, I believed that if we were to be together, we would simply be together. Then when the breeder called me that she had chosen me as the new owner for Demonka, I was overjoyed.

And another beautiful stage began for us, when Demonek was added to our seven-member pack of foundlings, who immediately fit in with them.

He is a wonderful dog with a great character, boundlessly loving his entire human and animal family, which he also protects with all his might. Demonek also really liked the shows that we started going to with him from an early age. His joy when he realizes that we are going to the show is downright contagious. And so together we enjoy shows and traveling the world, meeting new friends, gaining experience, and always learning new things.

After some time, when Demonek grew up, his size differences compared to the other members of the pack began to show, especially when playing. So we decided that it would be best to get him a full-fledged partner of the same breed, and after careful consideration, we specified that a female partner would be better. Demon Bílský lev & Betty Dan Katalen

And so we searched and found out again and then drove all the way to the far east of Slovakia to Kennel Dan Katalen for our amazing Betty. It is a true "oriental" and sometimes also nicknamed "mountain chamois". A brave, very temperamental and inquisitive little girl who also fit into our pack beautifully and when she met Demonek it was love at first sight.

So everything was great, the giants sat down nicely and the little ones were relieved that no one knocked them over while playing.

Betty and I have also started going to shows and it seems that it is just as much fun for her as it is for Demonka. We just had to make the car bigger 😊.
Betty is also a great lover of water, her rampage in the rain and in the pond is downright passionate, so we will definitely try the path of a canine water rescuer, after all, this breed has the best prerequisites for this job.

Demonek also likes water, although not as much as Betty.

So we'll see where it takes us in life with our hafans 😊.
